August is SALA time. And, it’s also National Science Week time.
What to do, when you have a passion for both? Well, combine forces, of course . . .
Courtesy of nine members of Bittondi Printmakers, Mrs Harris’ Shop is showing Alchemy, a fantastic exhibition celebrating one hundred years of Australian Science.
Such talent – and such lovely people as well! Welcome to: Geoff Gibbons, Mary Patricia Mitchell, Mary Pulford, Veronica Thurley, Kay Walker, Vicki Hunter, Wendy Wright, Mei Sheong Wong, Debby Haskard-Strauss. We are enjoying having them here for this exhibition and would love to have them here again!
The photos are great – but don’t take our word for it! It’s so much better to see the exhibition ‘in the flesh’. Come along and see for yourself what is already proving to be a popular exhibition.
Not only do you get to see a fabulous selection of works – there is also a chance to meet the artists and chat about their work. At each session, at least two artists are in attendance.
The exhibition is on show Saturdays and Sundays 11am – 3pm until 25 August.
