Through the window: Earleen Eastwood

We’ve enjoyed a fabulous variety of exhibitions at Mrs Harris’ Shop so far this year and now it seems an age since we’ve seen any paintings. (Well, it was last year!)

It’s time to redress the balance – and it’s great to welcome Through the Window,  a delightful collection of recent landscapes by award-winning Adelaide artist Earleen Eastwood.

Most of the works are acrylic on canvas, with a couple of gorgeous mixed media pieces and, for good measure, some neat little oils.

One wall of the gallery steals the eye with some spectacular mountains bursting with colour (one of them reminiscent of her recent visit to Cinqueterra); another wall features several pieces inspired by a recent trip to Tasmania.  The third draws us to windows, including two works from Earleens’ home on the lake at West Lakes.

Pop into Mrs Harris’ Shop to enjoy Earleen’s works – join her on some of her journeys and collect some memories of your own.

Through the Window is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am – 3pm until 28 June.
