Welcome back Michael! We just love having Michael and his work at Mrs Harris’ Shop.
In Ghost Trees, Michael has created a forest of unique prints celebrating the trees he’d rather have, and he refers to the exhibition as a ‘meditation on the forest’.
When he told me last year about his latest printmaking project – paper made from collected junk mail that had landed in his letter box, plates carved into found timber (furniture discarded by the roadside) and antique frames – he immediately secured a return invitation.
And Ghost Trees is a winner!
There’s a fabulous (and often funny) story to go with each print – and as a great little souvenir, Michael has created a booklet containing photos of the framed prints, plates and the stories.
Don’t miss this symphony in re-cycling – the print-making is so worth seeing and the stories are so worth reading!
